This is what I need to do a good virtual evaluation/fitting.
The first thing I like to see are back pictures of your horse.
Can you get for me:
- Side showing entire shoulder, wither, spine to tail
- Bird's eye view of entire spine (from up on a mounting block)
- Front showing width of chest
- Back showing width and shape over rump
Also, give me your rider stats so we can confirm your seat size. What is your height, weight, inseam (crotch to floor)
and upper thigh circumference? What is your jean size? What saddle seat size do you normally fit?
My goal is to provide you with outstanding customer service and make you very happy that you chose to work with me. Also, as a DP dealer, we are not allowed to price the saddles any less than the base pricing I use. So, there is no need to shop around. I also include free shipping with purchase.
Here is how our DP fittings work. There are so many styles and colors and variations that it's impossible to have your best fit here at our stock room. I have total access to all the saddles in stock at the DP headquarters as well as what other dealers may have in their stock. You and I work together to find what we consider to be the best fit for you and your horse from all saddles. You choose the one you like and purchase via my email invoice. I have it shipped from the DP warehouse (or here) directly to you. Once it arrives, we work together virtually (pictures and video) to adjust the saddle and assess fit. There is a 10-day DP trial period. I can also come out if you’re close but the virtual fit is amazing, simple and free!
10-day trial in a nutshell: Just keep it clean and unmarked by using stirrup leather covers for instance (I cut the toes out of old knee socks and slip over my leathers). For western styles, you can wrap the stirrups treds in VetRap to keep clean. Keep in touch with me during that time and I will be happy to look at pictures and give feedback. I have another write up for our virtual fitting process to adjust the saddle properly and assess fit during your trial. Saddle must be returned to DP within 10 days as described if not a "keeper". (I can get a short extension if needed) Although my shipping cost is FREE WITH SADDLE PURCHASE, it cannot be refunded on a “no sale”. DP has a $100. restocking fee (on returns but not on exchanges). The best way to avoid all this is to pick the right saddle to begin with which is my goal.

Building a custom saddle is also an option. It would take 3 to 4 months to arrive but there are some beautiful models in stock to look at first.
I will get pictures and write up saddles on individual emails once I determine the best model, panels and channel for your horse's conformation, as well as the correct seat size for you. Hopefully, this all sounds good to you. :)
