For those who love the classic Western Saddle but need something shorter and lighter, DP has built something almost unheard of: A Western Saddle on an English tree! This amazing saddle is built on the fabulous DP Ultra-Flex tree with fully adjustable gullet width from narrow to extra wide. It has wool flocked panels for optimum horse comfort. No more flat hard panels like standard western saddles. The fluffy wool flocked panels will conform to the horse’s conformation over time creating a cozy custom fit. With a softly padded seat, this saddle is ideal for long trail rides as well as the show ring (horned models).
The other fabulous feature is that these Quantum saddles are available in the standard western seat as well as a “Western Dressage Seat”. Yes, you read correctly! The Western Dressage seat has the seat shape of a dressage saddle, featuring a more narrow twist. This design also sets the fenders back 1 cm to more closely align your weight with the dressage seat balance. We’ve thought of everything!!
